Paul Schiffer — Founder & CEO

My IT career started with an apprenticeship as a certified IT specialist and projects ranging from individual users to companies with 300 employees. From there, I moved into network and security projects, eventually taking responsibility as CIO and CISO for IT strategy serving 1,500+ users — including cloud strategy, digitalization, and building an IT service team.

After that came roles as Cloud Solution Expert and Team Lead Security Services before I started my own business. Today I run Nexilon — with the goal of giving mid-sized organizations the IT expertise they need without having to build an entire department for it.

I’m an engineer, not a salesperson. When I advise, it’s about what makes sense — not what has the highest margin.

BSI IT-Grundschutz Consulting
